Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies
These modalities help clients identify and understand problematic thought and behavior patterns and learn how to shift these patterns into ones that help them reduce suffering, achieve desired goals, and improve their quality of life.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT): This is a specific type of cognitive behavioral therapy that focuses on building distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal skills.
Schema Therapy: This modality helps clients dive deeper into longstanding problematic core beliefs, often originating in childhood, that have kept them stuck in unhelpful emotional, social, and decision-making patterns. Clients will learn how to identify these patterns and develop more helpful thought and behavioral responses to them.
